We are all dealing with some form of “supply chain issues” in our lives due to the Covid pandemic. Whether it’s a shortage of building supplies, medical supplies, or large green olives and small seltzer bottles (near and dear to my heart). A search on Google for the phrase “supply chain issues” comes back with 1,420,000,000 search items.
Now we learn that ATT is dealing with “supply chain issues” to procure enough fiber to build their fiber to the home network. What a shame! I have an idea for them, instead of using fiber they should consider using more Fixed Wireless to reach their customers. Today, Fixed Wireless can deliver up to 10GB, the same throughput as lit fiber but at a fraction of the cost. Also, we build our networks in the Sky which doesn’t require the time and outrageous cost of digging up the streets of NYC.
Using various fixed wireless technologies, Skywire Networks, has now lit more than 2,500 residential and commercial building addresses in the NYC metro area. Our vast network footprint covers more than 60% of all commercial and residential buildings throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens and provides high speed internet service to many of the largest businesses in the world.
