Xchange Telecom was founded in 2002 to serve the underserved and unserved communities of New York City. We started as local phone company offering voice, data and mobile services to residents and businesses. Over time our network became a hybrid of fiber, wireless and copper offering scalable bandwidth via multiple access types over a robust backbone. As we grew, our network did too, spanning into upstate New York and Central New Jersey. As our network grew, so did our offerings and in 2012 the Skywire division was formed to support commercial businesses. Once again, the network gained momentum with new products, services and programs added over the last few years. In 2023 we brought the Xchange and Skywire names together as Skywire, Powered by Xchange in support of both our Residential, Small Business and Enterprise customers. Today, we serve over 1,500 Enterprise and Small Businesses and more than 25,000 Residential Customers. Contact us to become part of our next chapter of growth!
